As an indipendant retailer, we pride ourselves on our service and backup. To this end we have recently seen a major upgrade to our workshop facilities including larger benches ready for tackling widescreen TV's and and improoved storage area.

Below is a description of our labour rates,

The following prices do not include spare parts.
All repairs are accepted subject to the availability of spare parts.
Prices enclosed in brackets include VAT, all other prices are subject to VAT.
The 'Discounted Rate' is only applicable to items bought from Seaton Electronics within the last ten years. Proof of purchase may be required to qualify for discounted rate.

On-site Labour Rates

Service calls that cannot, in the technicians opinion, be repaired in the home, will be returned to the workshop and be charged at the above workshop rates plus a collection and delivery charge of:-

Hourly Charges

Due to the varied nature of work required, some items cannot be charged at fixed rates. These are charged by the hour or part of at:-

Examples of this work include:- Installation, Computer repair and tuition, Professional and semi professional audio/video equipment, CCTV equipment.

An engineering inspection / handling fee of £20.00 is charged when your goods are left for repair, this is deducted from the final repair account or (if the goods are not repaired for any reason) against the cost of an equivalent replacement.
Similarly, an inspection, handling, collection and delivery charge of £35.00 is required if we have to bring the goods back to the workshop from an on-site call.
